I luv ya but as my career being an analyst I see this for it really is.
Dance pop music has lasted a long time. It has overstayed its welcome and people are really getting tired of the sound. She came in at the end of the trend and made a mark. She is not stupid. She knows that the dance pop sound won't be great to do late 2013. Her best bet to outlast the dance pop fade is to go back to hip hop and hip POP songs that can cross over songs and give her fairweather and core fans want they want. Mission accomplished: She was able to broaden her base WW and get them accepting more hip hop sounds in concert.
well before i go back to do my homework i must say i'm thrilled for this news and i'm glad she wants to return to her roots and i think this well make her even more of a legend, she's going to be slaying all of radio with her urban music and still winning awards ! i'm going to speak it and claim it! i just know it's going to happen ! i think she's going to get more personal and surprise people ! and the specific people that are saying " no no no wheres popnika" will be hit with the truth about onika and they will learn to love because she's going to deliver music so real and truthful like freedom..
I prayed for this because this is what's going to get her that grammy and that renown title i've dreamed of, i love popnika but i'm just feeling this more ya know ? i always connected more with onika and mixtape nika more the anything
