It was all so out of nowhere? But I think this makes more sense, to put all the news in one place. Now we don't have to wonder where the hell to put things about people like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, among others.
Seeing harry potter ,rosie and lindsay news over the MUSIC forum is beyond horrible. The TV/Movies news are usually pointless and that forum was keeping them well. It wasn't dead because nobody posts there ,but because nobody cares about the posts that were there. So brining them to everybody's music news destination is pretty pointless . It makes the forum uglier and distracting for nothing. I think the The Lounge can still tolerate them.
This change didn't need to happen it all. This new set-up (whatever you want to call it) has made things a lot less organized, and it comes across as quite sloppy in a couple factors/standpoints. The TV/Movies forum was not inactive, but it was getting far less attention than Music News and Charts. (Which for as long as I can remember, has always been the case here, and it's been the exact situation with other forums/sites that I've seen.)
based on everyone's feedback, I decided to bring back the forum as "TV/Movies & Celebs"... while it brings back the ambiguous overlap of some news and videos, it should keep everyone happy.
There is no official policy, because I just brought it back like 20 minutes ago, but I think it would be ok (or even preferred) if any kind of non-music "news" like dumb celebrity stories and what-have-you is posted in there.
