That is completely irrelevant, Beyonce stole the idea from someone and then presented it as if it was her own. I was slayed by her performance then felt betrayed when I found out she stole the idea. The only reason she admitted to being "inspired" by someone else was because people found the other video. Had no one brought up the other video Bey would probably still be taking credit for that performance today.

Had she given credit right after the performance when everyone was praising her but before anyone called her out for stealing the idea it would have been fine. The fact that she only gave credit because she was being accused of stealing it is what bothers me. She is a thief, plain and simple. The fact that she has the money and resources to employ the original producers to recreate the performance makes her a powerful and wealthy thief but no less a thief.

all the artists that create the music that she puts her vocals on get credit on her album. It is easy to tell who wrote/produced those songs. The public was giving her credit for that performance and had no one found the other video she would still be getting credit to this day. That is my point, she gets way more credit than she deserves because she presents things in such a way that make her look like a visionary genius when in actual fact she is a glorified thief. Maybe she should come up with some more original ideas

hey, I actually really like Bey and think she is ridiculously talented. But the sketchiness that surrounds how she gets her music and other creative ideas has always bothered me.
