For starters, producers are hoping to bring back Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel as Cory and Topanga. While nothing has been confirmed, there are rumors that the two are on board with the idea and ready to reprise their pop culture roles. Even though they may breathe new life into Cory and Topanga, the plot would not revolve solely around them, but rather their daughter, Riley.
Riley is a pre-teen girl trying to find her way in the world (just as the title implies.) So, who will be Riley’s Shawn Hunter? A girl name Maya who is described as being edgier than Miss Riley. Of course, this makes perfect sense, especially considering that, in the original “Boy Meets World,” Cory was viewed as the good boy while his best friend, Shawn, was the bad boy.
Already, the story line is synching up to be a bit like the original, but what about Mr. Feeny? Surely there couldn’t be a “Boy Meets World” spin-off without the beloved teacher, right?! Well, there are no details as to whether or not William Daniels would reprise his role, but that’s okay! Riley’s father (who is most definitely named Cory Matthews, but not set in stone to be played by Ben Savage) is also her history teacher which could make for some interesting television. Even though Mr. Feeny may not be on the show physically, it is likely that Cory would be able to include some of the wisdom that he learned from Feeny into the show.
I would die if Mr. Feeny came back but he probably won't I hope they can get the original Cory and Topanga to though, that's the only possible way I'd be here for this. If they give them enough money, why not?
I would not care about Riley. I just want to see what Corey, Topanda, Shawn, and the other people have been up to as well as what they would doing in normal life.
