For some reason, I think they are waiting till the end of the year because they will probably advertise a low price like 5-7.99 during Black friday...to increase units.
Alot of older albums increase in units during the debut week and 2nd week of an artist's recent album (i.e. Taylor Swift, Eminem, Rihanna, Britney, Bieber etc.).
In a perfect world, the re up will sell well during black friday and discounted price and her label will also discount Pink Friday to sell at least 5-10k and then the second week it will see a 70% drop which will inch it closer to 2M. If they don't do certify it at the end of the year (which would be dumb not to) then they can do it after the grammy's if they discount it again with her most likely attending, possibly performing and hopefully winning (Girl on fire  ).
I honestly don't see PFRR being re-certified until January/Feb/March |
