Romney only won NC by 80K votes.

My county was the bluest with 76 PERCENT.Most of the counties Romney carried are rural/suburban (The Biggest city in a county Romney carried is barely 100k in population) whereas Obama carried most of the urban counties,most of the college counties,and most of the rural conties with majority minority populations

Yes, But Bill Clinton never got more than 50% of the popular vote twice like Obama did. Plus part of the reason why it was easier for Clinton to turn some of those Southern states blue was because it was a 3 way race.
