True but sis it will count for double certifications.
If it sell 100k it won't be counted as 200k however once it sells 300k of the re up it can technically be certified double platinum 700k+300k of new sales =1M sold for a 100 minute album can be 2x platinum.
Ex. Shania twain and Outkast had double albums sell 5.5M and were certified 11x platinum.
Garth brooks had an album sell 10M and certified 21x platinum
R. KElly 4.2M album certified 8x platinum.
