Run the World (Girls) -This song is really more suitable for music theory enthusiasts. With most pop music we're used to hearing repetition. What Beyoncé is doing on RTW is being really abstract with her vocals by getting really heavily into music theory. She does harmonies that are rarely heard in music and by the same time she's changing the harmonies throughout. Unless you have a love for music theory it can be very daunting to listen to because you don't know what to follow.
