First of all, I enjoyed reading the OP. Very well written.
It does look like history is repeating itself, but I really think that ARTPOP will do better than COADF. COADF was good, but Gaga has not peaked yet. I really hope that she pulls a 'Hung Up' as well, given that she is collaborating with these amazing DJs.
it's only 7 years old, and it sounds fine and very listenable.
