TV Clip: American Idol 6 - Top 20 Best Performances
I was a little bored. So I decided to make, what I think, are the 20 Best American Idol performances of Season Six. Feel free to give me your opinion.
(20) Stephanie Edwards - How Come You Don't Call Me They never showed her on the auditions, but WOW did she make herself known after that! Shame she couldn't recapture the awesomeness of that performance.
(19) Sanjaya - Besame Mucho Even the haters couldn't entirely hate on this number and turned out surprisingly well and even more surprisingly one of the best of Latin night. Even Simon couldn't hate on it. PS: Extra points for being the only one with the cojones to sing in spanish.
(18) Phil Stacy - Blaze of Glory He didn't get too much love in the beginning, but when he found out he's pretty good at country, he started to get real good. this was his best performance, funny enough he did go down in a blaze...well you know.
(17) Chris Sligh - Trouble I completely dug this guy since the beginning. And funny as hell! He's got a pretty good voice too. Best performance bar none. Pretty wife too.
(16) Chris Richardson - Don't Get Around Much Anymore Sure he was JT 2.0, but isn't so much a bad thing. Best performance vocally and performance-wise.
(15) Jordin - On a Clear Day Bubby AI6 champ put a smile on the oldest of old farts with this one.
(14) Gina Glocksen - I'll Stand By You Sure Carrie Underwood made a hit out this one this year, but don't forget the rocker girl blew it out the box this year with the same song. So sad when she was eliminated early.
(13) Sanjaya - You Really Got Me This one will inspire hate mail. But it is the most talked about and memorable performance of the season. Put Sanjaya and that damn crying girl on the map.
(12) Blake - This Love Maroon5 2007 Remix! Blake really surprised with his interpretation of this love. Love the breakdown in the middle.
(11) Melinda - I've Got Rhythm The first of MANY appearances from Mindy Doo. I still feel she was robbed from the crown.
(10) Lakisha - God Bless the Child First appearance of Kiki on the list...and not the last! I <3 this performance!
(9) Melinda - I'm a Woman Some blame this song for being the reason for her surprise vote-off. But let's remember how awesome the first performance was!

(8) Blake - Time of the Season Another great performance from Mr. Beatbox. I think this would make a great summer single!
(7) Jordin - I Who Have NothingHappy Rainbows-and-Puppies Jordin got all depressed and desperate with this track...and sold it!

(6) Lakisha - This Ain't a Love Song After a couple weeks of meh performances, Kiki came with an AMAZING cover of Bon Jovi's song. If I were Simon, I would've kissed her too!
(5) Melinda - Home In her most emotional performance ever, she made Paula cry and dammit! I got misty-eyed too. Whoever accused her of being cold watch this performance.
PS: Lol, Ryan and Simon are gay.
(4) Blake - You Give Love a Bad Name I don't give a damn what Bon Jovi thinks, this is hands down Blake's best performance on Idol, and of my favorite ever.
(3) Jordin - Broken Wing Hands down, the Idol Winner's best performance. Never was a HUGE fan of her, but I loved that performance. Not hatin' that she won over Melinda.

(2) Lakisha - And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going Her first Idol performance was hands down her most amazing performance ever. Some came close (#6, #10) but this one's the best.
And the #1 Best Most Super Awesome Idol Season Six Performance is....
(1) Melinda - My Funny Valentine This is not just the best performance from Season Six, it's one of the best performance I have ever seen. Vocally, it's just.....(the noise Homer Simpson makes when his mouth waters)
