It's just a matter of time until we welcome 2013 and the fresh and long-awaited albums by various artists, anticipated by all of us. Taking in count that ARTPOP is Gaga's next release, after a entire year of solace, it shouldn't be unsurprising that there's this feeling of anxiousness for it, especially when us monsters sit and watch all of the other fanbases rejoice for their faves.
So, as we await for the Third Coming of Gaga, all we can do is pray, believe,, And anticipate, and I wanna share my insights with all of you. Gaga has said that this album was inspired by "future", hence why she's collaborating with youngins for the make of an app for it. She's also shared her desire to split the album in two volumes.. Giving us "Body Talk" trilogy teas. She's changing her sound, leaving the heavy metal stay forever on BTW and getting top-notch Djs to co-produce along with her the songs for ARTPOP (Zedd, Madeon, DJWS, etc). Even her fashion has changed, leaving the punk-rave-**** for the burqa swag, steampunk mademoiselle. Her desire of collaboration with young artists like Azealia Banks, Kendrick Lamar and God knows who else should be a joy since Gaga usually avoids collaborations. Telephone is getting a sequel. She and the Haus designed a wig that lights in the dark. She requested the make of lava-lamp heels. She's more fun, and happy with herself. She's coming.
All these made me think and, while rediscovering the pop masterpiece that COADF is.. Was preceeded by "American Life", an album that generated a polarized reception, just like Born This Way. If you aren't getting what I'm trying to say, then read this:

But now, I feel that I just want to have fun; I want to dance; I want to feel buoyant. And I want to give other people the same feeling. There's a lot of madness in the world around us, and I want people to be happy."

It seems like history is repeating itself. Let's remember that COADF was a return to form for Madonna's reign. This EDM masterpiece sounds like it was released 5 years before it's schedule, making a record for topping the charts WW in 40 countries. The album has sold as of now 11 million copies, and Hung Up is her biggest hit to date. All this was made at her last peak, and the album cemented her status as an icon through three decades (I know it's weird coming from a Gaga stan to say this but hey the truth is the truth).
So, do you think ARTPOP will be similar or share the success COADF had? Will this be Gaga's best album to date? Will it give us iconic EDM-pop gems? I'd like you that before you share your opinions (monsters and non-monsters) you got off the stan-glasses and discuss this politely.
