Slay Young is not peaking. It still gained overall Hot 100 points. Diamonds and WANEGBT just had more points that it this week.

Hopefully Bruno and Rihanna will manage to block that awful Kesha song. A #3 peak is more than enough for it.

It's not all about the new rules, it's the lacking of a serious competition too. Apart from Gangnam Style which ends up to be defeated every week, #3 is miles away in points since OMN became #1!

I agree. I really don't like Die Young, I really want to move on from that sound that dominated 2010-2011, it's getting boring now.

The new rules always meant there would be, on average, longer runs at #1. I've been saying this ever since Billboard included streaming. Adding another factor into the chart, especially an "infinite" one, will slow down the chart.

There also the fact that there's not many big songs out right now. Remember this time in 2010 or 2008, 2007, 2006 when there were lots of big hits smashing? If it was like that this year again, One More Night wouldn't stand a chance at getting such a long run.
