(Reuters) - A magnitude 7.5 earthquake struck off Guatemala's Pacific Coast on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The temblor was centered about 28 miles southwest of Champerico, Guatemala, at depth of 20.5 miles, USGS said. The quake was originally reported at a magnitude of 7.3.
A magnitude-7.4 earthquake struck Guatemala Wednesday, rocking the capital and shaking buildings as far away as Mexico City and El Salvador, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The quake's epicenter was about 20 miles deep, was centered off the town of Champerico. The Tsunami Warning Center said there is a small possibility of a very small, localized tsunami.
