I can admit when I'm wrong. And I was wrong. I thought Romney would win, and it was a very close election, that is obvious. And I hope Obama can change the economy, but I just don't know. He doesn't seem to care about or budget or spending problems. And that is troubling for me.
Of course. The GOP continues to marginalize women and minorities, especially Latinos. Latinos are the largest growing minority and make up the majority for that under 18 category.
I don't see them getting support from Latinos anytime soon so it is heartwarming to know that!

The GOP will just have to move forward, with the rest of the world
Once social progress, particularly equal rights for all minorities, is no longer a question in this country (and, by extension, an issue that the GOP fixates on), moderates and independents will actually have something to consider on the right side. These things overshadow the real, universal decisions that impact our country; they're painfully unfair for the people whose rights as Americans are in the hands of others, and they're a drain on time and money that could be spent on improving the quality of life for everyone in this country.
As it stands, the decision remains a vote between the party that strives to help everybody in some way and the party that helps a small group of people a lot. When the GOP figures out how to be likable, unified and politically distinct in ways that don't completely alienate half the population, they'll prosper.

Literally laughed out loud when I read the OP The elephants definitely have some soul searching to do, the minority in America votes largely Democratic, and it is growing rapidly. If the Elephant party does not get rid of the extremist tea party and move more towards the center, the Drmocrats will be in power for some time

But where are you getting this information from? Romney is the one who planned to increase military spending by 1/5 even though they didn't ask for it, and wanted tax cuts across the board etc. Obama has already steadied the economy and is finally moving in the right direction. These things take longer than 4 years.

Gurl I am getting this information by seeing our national debt has risen under Obama. It isn't really that hard to notice. Go watch the national debt clock.
