Florida, Virginia, and Ohio were all decided by less than 100k votes.
No party is going to die out, Obama squeaked out a re-election, and I congratulate him. But our nation is divided, and Obama still has challenges ahead of him.

THANK YOU for admitting defeat. THANK YOU for being happy for him. But most of all, THANK YOU, for realizing that we need to unite. My opinion of you has changed in one post.
I think it has to do with younger generations being less and less religious and the Republican Party keeps focusing and using using religion. Meghan McCain has the right idea that we need a republican who has a more current outlook on civil matters. I'm not republican, but they need a few republicans who support gay rights and women's rights to really make some gains again.

I can admit when I'm wrong. And I was wrong. I thought Romney would win, and it was a very close election, that is obvious. And I hope Obama can change the economy, but I just don't know. He doesn't seem to care about or budget or spending problems. And that is troubling for me.
It didn't, but Ron Paul had great pull from the young people. It's just that old republican men thought Romney was more republican than Ron Paul. Which might be true, as Ron Paul was never the conventional republican.
