No. some people are misinformed. I know tons of white, latinos voting for Obama. People forget Obama is biracial, he was raised by his mother and her parents.

Hispanics/White people still vote for Obama, so no. But Romney's supporters are like 90% white.

Stacy Dash is getting torn to pieces by many Obama supporters, regardless of race. She's also getting backlash because of her tacky ass picture of her endorsing Romney. It felt like attention-seeking.

Maybe, Obama is just another great politician that is more aligned with many of our beliefs so we want to support him. His race is incidental for a lot of people.

Its based on Metaracism if anything. Metaracism is racism that isn't defined by WHITE hatered towards BLACKS, but by white ACCEPTANCE of a system that produces and reproduces black as inferior. Everyone knows that statistically blacks are viewed as inferior economically. And that has been due to the historical political and economic suppression of black people by the STATE. The Civil Rights movement made SOME progress but inequalities still exist and anyone can see that if you look at the education system, the prison system, and the political system in this country. But people ignore these problems and as long as white people disregard WHITE SUPREMACY as a legitimate institutional problem you can surely make the case that elections are based largely on race. Republicans want to keep things the way they are at the expense of minorities, and democrats want to change the system to make it more fair for everyone at the expense of being labeled socialists or catering to a certain race, because the reality is the black community NEEDS government assistance to offset the legacy of racism and WELFARE is not the way to do it.

Blacks as a race statistically tend to lean massively democratic anyway. This is nothing new with Obama.

The Democratic candidate has received ~90% of the black vote in pretty much every election since 1980, regardless of their race. Please study American history.

I don't know if it's the majority but many people do vote for whoever they can relate too, and race plays into that.

Incorrect. The Democratic Party almost never wins a majority of the white vote and they have always won 90+% of African American votes and has the edge with Latinos. So it's not like African Americans are voting for Obama because he's black, they're more enthusiastic yes, but they have always supported Democrats by a huge 90% margin in almost every election.

Not on Republican side but def on Obama's side. A lot of them don't even consider Romney's plan or have bias before deciding to vote. They only voting because he's the first black president and not on his horrible track record!
