First "Diamonds" video theme: Zombie Apocalypse
Rihanna is stuck alone in now post Apocalyptic streets of NYC, where she is separated by her partner Chris Brown, and she has to go out and rescue him. Throughout the video Rihanna fights herds of zombies, going on streets to rooftops, driving cars, sneaking, breaking and burning stuff, until she reunites with her lover, and their love shines all around the world heals it from the zombie infection.
Meaning: the zombies represent the people as Rihanna has to fight for her right to love Chris again, but until they see the love they can't judge.
Second "Diamonds" video theme: Self-struggle
Rihanna is finding hard time coping with the loss of her Gran Gran Dolly and fame, and while trying to maintain her cool she finds herself breaking down multiple times in different occasions and events. This theme is based on "Black Swan" as Rihanna's darker part starts to appear with her struggle to cope on with her grandmother death, until Rihanna has to accept with her passing and move on, and she understand that her grandmother now lives in her heart forever. After Rihanna beats her "darker" self, she flies to Barbados to spread the ashes of her late Gran Gran Dolly in the beautiful sea while she gracefully sings, "Shine bright like a diamond" as it drifts away.

First of all: Ugh at your idea with CB being in the video.
Second: I really really like your second idea of the video. It started well but ended not so good.
You shouldn't associate your ideas so much with her reallife. imo. of course it affects her, but I don't think she would literally spread Dollys ashes in Barbados.
All in all. Don't associate so much and you would make a good job, imo.

Actually, I wasn't referring to the ashes. I was referring to her whole personal life part.
The part about being sad about a lost person is good. But not that person being a real person and flying to barbados. you know?
