It doesn't matter, it's all about the average. P!nk has a tour that grossed nearly $150 million with a weaker average gross than the “Femme Fatale” tour. Beyond abysmal.
Britney's "Circus" tour average gross per show is higher than Gaga's on her first three tours (the gross of her first two tours is combined, probably to look more impressive.) Gaga's tour gross this era hasn't been anything phenomenal outside of Asia. Those numbers are impressive in large part due to the fact that big popstars usually don’t go there. “Born This Way Ball” is likely to fall short of $300 million with 250 dates. The worst thing is that her stadium shows cost over $4 million to set up.
Britney’s the touring act of the generation, next to Justin.
Her debut tour was US-only, because she was recording her second album. Roughly 1/3 of the "Oops!" tour dates were in Europe and they all sold out. "Dream within a Dream" was all US but one date, because she was busy promoting "Crossroads." The knee injury ****ed up her fourth tour.
