Niall Horan: "I went straight for Katy Perry's lips"

It's no secret that Niall Horan and Katy Perry had a bit of a moment on stage at the VMAs after she went in for a big fat kiss, but we were quite surprised to hear the One Direction singer describe their relationship as something quite similar to the way you might treat your pet Labradoodle.
As much as we'd like and wouldn't be surprised if K-Pezza dressed Niall up in fluffy ears and a dog mask, this actually has more to do with the fact that it was she who helped him get put through to Bootcamp when he was first on the X Factor.
On the panel as a guest judge, it was Katy we have to thank for ensuring Niall got through and apparently she now feels like she owns a piece of him. Not that he minds if it means getting to kiss her on a regular basis.
"Katy's super-hot. And she's really cool as well," he told Now.
"I think she feels a little bit of ownership over me because she was the one to put me through on The X Factor when she was a guest judge."
But while you might have thought that on stage kiss at the VMAs was pretty full-on, it's apparently nothing compared to the technique Nialler used on her in the Green Room.
"She was the first person to say hi backstage," Niall explained. "The first thing I saw was her with her lips out. I just went straight for her lips."
Can't say we blame him to be honest.
But what do you think? Doesn't sound like he was worrying too much about Demi at the time, does it?
