Britney is not some indie singer.
And yes, we all know she loves doing music, but we also know she hates the "business" around it, and that's why she doesn't care about promoting anymore.
However, NO Pop act can survive without support from the general public, so she still has to work for it - She is not Madonna
yet, and even Madonna works harder than Britney nowadays.
