"NOW THAT YOU GOT IT" REGGAE REMIX FEATURING DAMIAN MARLEY "Thanks to our good friend Casey, you can now download an official remix of "Now That You Got It," which is rumored to be Gwen's next single. The remix features another favorite of mine, Damian Jr. Gong Marley, and takes the song to another whole AMAZING level with a reggae feel, that seems to be taken from the tour. I am in love with this remix, expect to see it in our remixes section in the audio soon."
Ahhhh I so hope NTYGI is the 4th single! It's sooooo good and catchy. It's going to be a toss up between "Yummy" and "Now That You Got It" definitely. I doubt she'll do another ballad and she won't get risky so soon releasing "Early Winter" so yep expect one of the two.
^you're insane!!!! no way in hell should "Orange County Girl" be a single. It's one of the worst songs on "The Sweet Escape"--it would have flopped without a doubt (LOL no pun intended). Anyways, I think the order of the rest of the singles is correct though. I actually think "Wonderful Life" has great potential too but oh well.
^ I agree, Orange County Girl is just a filler on the album, def not worthy of becoming a single.
Is Gwen releasing Now That You Got It? What about 4 In The Morning?
^it's rumored to be after 4ITM which is just now picking up on radio but it might not get the top five position, maybe top 20 somewhere around "cool" success.
OCG is TERRIBLE. of course it's a filler as it was supposed to make the LAMB album and never made it on because LAMB was more of a classic album compared to TSE which is just whatever.
my idea:
1. Wind It Up
2. 4 In The Morning (would've got attention over Winter time than Summer, right?)
3. Now That You Got It (great summer song)
4. The Sweet Escape (to bring in mid-Fall/early winter time)
5. Early Winter (lol just around Winter)
6. Yummy (would be like "Crash", released for no reason but to pull in quick copies)
my idea:
1. Wind It Up Interesting choice but odd leading single
2. 4 In The Morning (would've got attention over Winter time than Summer, right?) Mmm... no i don't think so, after the not so warming reception of the lead single, 4ITM would have been as Hurt for B2B
3. Now That You Got It (great summer song) Agree!
4. The Sweet Escape (to bring in mid-Fall/early winter time) This was the perfect follow-up single, catchy, fun and it helped the sales for the album the same way Toxic of Beautiful did for In The Zone and Stripped respectively... fourth single is too late for this
5. Early Winter (lol just around Winter) Good option but two ballads from the same album ?
6. Yummy (would be like "Crash", released for no reason but to pull in quick copies) I bet Yummy can be mooore succesful than Crash tho...
