Surprised nobody has said anything about Darwinism yet. Regardless, I don't believe you should solve violence with violence. I did once and I am not exactly proud of it. Maybe if everyone was "soft" crime rates would be lower.
No, the difference is that until a few years back you could indeed stand up for yourself. Nowadays when you stand up for yourself either the school blames you for it all and will punish you harder than just a 2 week suspension, or all the kids will just gang up on you next time instead of just 1 guy.
Times have changed in a different way than you think. yes, some kids are just too soft. But many also just have no way out. If they try to do anything against it, they'll just be beaten down twice as hard. This wasn't the case a few years back.
I didn't read all of what you wrote because frankly
But I read the first few sentences and I kind of agree, but I don't think it's entirely the kids faults.
I personally feel like bullying and suicide is kind of overexposed and almost glorified in a way. I'm sure that half the kids who committed suicide in the past year wouldn't have, if suicide wasn't made out to be as this thing that all the "bullied" kids are doing.
I think the media is making kids seem softer, which makes them act softer since that's what they see everywhere, if that makes sense.
No. Every child is different and handle situations differently, and all go through different situations. Some can handle that kind of pressure, some can't. Not everyone is made of stone and can easily bite back like others. How about some of these "parents" actually teach their kids about respect and to NOT become a bully. Please don't generalize an entire generation based off of something you've seen. Your example CAN'T speak for everyone.
And this is the bottom line people are not holding parents accountable for their badass kids.
When columbine happened they blamed everything but the real issue which is lack of respect.
We really need to teach our kids this it is becoming more of a problem nowadays than ever before.
Some of the posts in this thread are REALLY disgusting and ignorant
Every person is different, and one persons stress limit could be much different to somebody else's. You shouldn't adopt the 'I got through it, so everybody else who didn't is a *****' because as I said before every person is different.
As for the question NO
