Aaliyah used mostly Missy & Timbaland with her 2nd album

Aaliyah used mostly Steve Garret (With a little bit of Missy/Timbo/Others) with her 3rd album

She was really moving away from Timbaland & Missy with Aaliyah. Y'all do too much with this "If she was still alive..." etc. I bet if Ashanti died after Chapter II, everyone would be saying the same thing about her, like they do Aaliyah.

They didn't work together as much because Barry (Aaliyah's uncle) refused to pay Tim and Missy for their work on "OIAM". Tim basically did "We need a resolution" and "More Than a Woman" for free, out of LOVE for Aaliyah. Again, Aaliyah pushed Tim to be more creative with his productions. BOTH of them said this. Just because someone doesn't write their music doesn't mean they aren't involved in the music process.

Then why havent they? How many protege's did Missy and Tim have that never really worked out? Tweet, Nicole Wray, Lil Mo, Keri Hilson, 702, I mean, the list goes on. Aaliyah was the only one, that made it.

Well, Nelly and Justin did well for themselves I guess.

& Aaliyah is part of the reason Tim and Missy were able to make names for themselves in the first place. Which goes back to my point. If it wasn't for Aaliyah, "Loose" and "futuresex" probably would have never happened, thus another reason why her impact and influence should not go unoticed.
