Nelly Furtdao has has added fuel to the fire words between her, and fellow pop star Fergie, after hitting back at comments the “Glamorous” singer made about her on a radio show last week.
Fergie told Los Angeles DJ, and host of American Idol, Ryan Seacrest that she and Nelly Furtado had “fallen out big-time” over a mix up with lyrics when she appeared on his morning show last week.
The “Man eater” singer appeared on the same show yesterday morning, and admitted that she was puzzled about why her pop rival was still talking about the pairs spat.
She told Ryan” “We spoke about it face to face… We kinda cleared it up about a month ago… I thought it was water under the bridge.
“I threw the first punch, technically, thinking she had thrown the first punch. She told me she did not and then I said, ‘You know what, I’m sorry…’ I’m sure we’ll be friends again in the future.
“I’m not a bully, I’m just an artist and when you’re an artist you have a certain artistic license and when you feel things intuitively and you feel like you’ve been insulted or hurt you just react.”
you should really change the title of this thread...Nelly isn't blasting Fegie...she is just surprised that Fergie brought it up again. I don't think Fergie did anything wrong though, she was just responding to a question, it's not like she just brought it up to boost her own status. I have a lot of respect for Nelly Furtado but she needs to grow up--even if Fergie did "diss" Nelly in "Fergalicious", Nelly should have rose above it and kept doing her own thing. Oh and btw, Nelly's verse in "Give It To Me" is embarassing and juvenile. Nelly, get back to having a little class.
