If it weren't for Bill Gates, Apple kind of would have never taken off. Apple was in financial strains and Bill helped them out. It was just enough time for them to develop the I-pod. The rest is history. So I say Bill Gates, honestly.
Bill Gates. Steve Jobs was kind of a deadbeat, cheat, and delusional (according to the FBI). Bill Gates is philanthropic, kind, and he's actually liked not only for the innovation he pioneered, but for who he actually is as a person. With that said, Apple did give them good competition (iPod >>> Zune, iTunes >>> WMP, etc.)
