Oh and stop talking about 'suicidal Monsters'. It's just tacky as hell. nobody even cares and just because a few monsters commited suicide doesn't it mean the whole stan base is like that. It's really disrespectful. The fact that you would even say that is just really disrespectful.

Um. First off...let's get something straight: criticism is not hate. What's being discussed is not "hate".

Secondly, no one is criticizing her for having a promtional deal. Everyone has them. Taylor's pizza thing is fine, if not just a bit embarrassing for Taylor lol it's the extent to which team Gaga tried to get the album out there just for the sake of sales "bragging rights".

To some their faves are always the victim....

Whether or not it was her fault is not the point. It is the fact that there is an asterisks that will be forever placed beside her first week number that makes her achievement completely irrelevant.

big ****ing deal, she still sold them. if people weren't interested at all, they wouldn't have bought it even if it is just 99 cents. and as far as hype goes, just check her tour numbers for that and we'll see.

at least she hasn't resorted to giving away her album with happy meals, no shade.

Gaga had a massive promo campaign and she has a massive loyal fanbase. That album would have sold 1,000,000+ the first week even if it was standard price.

The fact is that it happened, and Gaga and her little monsters love to brag about 1 million+, so they should get used to the massive asterisk that comes along with it. Billboard, HDD, Rolling Stone, and pretty much every reputable publication is just speaking the truth. It's not something that'll be forgotten so deal with it.

Oh and the overall sales are super embarrassing in relation to the first week so Billboard etc is probably ashamed of including them. Oop.
