Maybe you are excited because Hyuna is selling more than 4Minute?

Wow. Didn't expect that. Goes to show how much her star has risen over the last year.
How is it not impressive? Isn't this many times more than she or 4Minute have ever sold total? How does comparing this to Asia's most popular girl group diminish that? It's like saying Red wasn't successful because OIDIA.

And 4Minute still don't have a #1 song

Downloads were cheaper back then. Since the end of June, downloads on Melon (the biggest music site) are ~0.60 USD

I wonder if iTunes would be successful in Korea, not that Korea really needs it THAT much but it would increase the sales for international songs a bit more there.

I read a few months ago they plan on bringing it to Korea in tye next few years. It'll end up like Japan iTunes most likely, not important in the grand scheme of things.

I don't know HOW popular she is, but that's not impressive for a #1 in Korea.
But still, congrats

The all time record for weekly digital sales in Korea was when the entire top 5 sold over a million copies because of Korea's biggest talent competition show.

#1 debuts for the year. No songs or artists because I don't care quite that much. The three outliers on top are Big Bang, Psy and Big Bang again.

Didn't BoA sell over 500K with "Only One"?

It was #1 on downloads with a 536K debut but it debuted at #2 on the overall chart behind Gangnam Style

Explain that? I just looked it up too and I was thinking someone just updated wrong but I guess not. What other factors does this chart consider that kept it from #1?

Interesting now that I'm looking through the actual chart. Volume Up was #1 on sales too, but not on other factors I guess. And WG had one of the biggest debuts of the year when everyone says they're over, only beaten by BB with an even bigger debut.
