"Red's" lack of low pricing stands in contrast to the last album that did a million in a week: Lady Gaga's "Born This Way." That set's 1.108 million first week was fueled partly by Amazon MP3 opting to sell the album for 99 cents on two separate days during its release week. ("Red," however, was only available as a digital album via iTunes, leaving Amazon MP3 -- and any possible discounting -- out of the picture.)

The shade, it almost feels like they are dragging Gaga now.
I don't like IKYWT production but at least the lyrics are decent. I need an acoustic of that. She can have fun with 22 on the tour and then never speak of it again after this era.
When WANEGBT dropped I NEVER thought she would be able to outsell Speak Now's first week It's crazy how she maintains her power and consistency so effortlessly.
Get used to her performing WANEBGT for the rest. of. her. life.
And I don't think she'll release all 3 MM songs now that I think about it. She doesn't want to be another MM product who can only get pop hits because of him. She deserves better than that and this album deserves better than becoming a vehicle for whatever beat MM wants to get out to radio this month.
I say this and watch she not only releases all 3 but she does a re-release with the 4th MM song and 2 new ones and he winds up the exec producer on her next album.
Ugh that would be awful. The problem is all three Max songs are showing longevity on itunes so it would be difficult to argue against it.

Yes. Especially bc of big 2nd week discounts RT @sebastianzar: @bwerde what do you think follow-up week will be? Could she do 400+ ?
Why do people view Taylor as a teenager who needs to grow up while praising ADELE as this sophisticated woman when they are only 1 year a part? I don't get it. At all.
Adele's music are all doom & gloom. Today's society love the pity-party. It fits them perfectly. Anything that is all sad = aunthentic & sophisticated.
Her big voice. Giving faux-operatic sensation. Taylor's is far more dreamy/whisper-y.
Taylor is the kind of adventurous woman. While Adele is the one who sticks with one thing only.
Shame some ppl can't separate objectivity from subjectivity.
