New performers announced for American Music Awards
Carrie Underwood, P!nk and Pitbull have joined the American Music Awards lineup, Billboard can exclusively reveal.
The country queen, pop star and hip-hop heavyweight will perform on the ceremony's 40th anniversary broadcast on Nov. 18. Previously announced performers at the all-star show include Taylor Swift -- fresh off her million-topping opening week for "Red" -- plus Nicki Minaj, Linkin Park and Christina Aguilera.
For the sixth year, winners will be decided by online fan voting. The show will air on ABC live from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Saturday, Nov. 18.
