I'll never understand why people feel the need to charge their phones every couple of hours. Carry an extra battery, if so.

My old android would only last like 4 hours, even w/ cpu/battery tuner on it, was so bad! I had to carry around 3 batteries for it. Every OS has a battery horror story, that's the manufacturer's fault. The best smartphone I've had so far (battery-wise) was my blackberry bold 9700; would last a day and a half with very heavy use AND I'd carry around an $8 extra battery just in case it'd die.
I had a Windows 6.1 phone for a while and it was terrible, but WP8 is probably greatly improved. Windows 7.5 has stellar reviews, seriously have barely heard anything bad about it at all. We'll see soon.
Totally agree though, I'd never get a phone without a removable battery ... there are no super batteries yet for the new superphones :P. Realistically, it's gonna be a problem sooner or later. Nokia 820 for me!!
I still think it was a bit of a mistake waiting SO long to announce WP8. Unless they're hiding some truly magnificent, revolutionary features... but I think everything has already leaked... wonder what their plan is... it's definitely my next OS though, I've abused and become bored with the others already..
