I have no genuine idea of what I look like.
In the mirror, I look different to how I look in a picture. Not extremely different but there are just some features that stand out more in a mirror. And apparently you are supposed to look the way you look in pictures.
How is that possible when:
Each picture is taken at a different angle
Each picture has different lighting
Each picture may have a different focus
The exposure of each picture may be different
Pictures capture on in a single frame, as 2D
I suppose a mirror is a more accurate depiction, because you can see yourself in a mirror in daylight, as a 3D image, your features are more prominent, it is not just a quick capture of your face but your face in motion.
But apparently mirrors are indeed the opposite mirrored image of how we actually look so we look more 'perfect' and we subconsciously pose in a mirror as opposed to candids.
So all in all, we neither look like photos or the mirror. It is 50/50.
I am so OCD and confused, I wish I could be someone else and see what I look like. It is not that important but it is bothering me.
Oh, and I look cuter in all the mirrors.
