I grew to like Aaliyahs music... To a lesser extent than Bey... Later on in life.

I used to confuse singers when I was young as well. Especially Ashanti and Jennifer Lopez.

I remember on the 2003 BET Awards I thought Teena Marie was Mariah Carey.

I've loved Beyonce since I was really, really young, like back in 98'. Her voice was different from most of what was out and I liked that.

Once I got older I realize Beyonce was a lot different from every other pop star from her generation, her talent was really unparallelled. This is when I joined ATRL back in 2002, the climate on ATRL was the same then, no one really appreciated her talent or music until 'Crazy In Love'.

Anyways, once I heard they were all going solo, I got REALLY excited, I really think the other girls held Beyonce back. We got her first album and I was blown away at how amazing her voice was... The rest is history..

Well Jlo and Ashanti were both musically linked to Ja rule.. so I could see how you made that mistake.

And Teena Marie and Mariah Carey kinda look alike...

Aaliyah and Beyonce don't look anything alike or sound like each other or even worked with the same people. Sis was just being shady. That's all.
