This is based on Inverse points in the Top 20 (meaning that my rankings aren't based on spins and do not include songs by the artists that missed the Top 20). Here is the list.

This list is updated and includes todays final chart. Interesting i would say. By the end of 'U + Ur Hands' chart run, Pink should be ahead of J.lo (unless J.lo comes out with a new single which i hear she is). Rihanna is about to overtake Madonna as 'Umbrella' is obviously going to be a hit.

Right now things look Neck n' Neck with Aguilera and Clarkson. Clarkson is only about 116 points behind, and if this new album gets her any hits, she'll overtake her in no time. However 'Never Again' still hasn't earned Clarkson any points yet as it's stalling outside the top twenty. If Aguilera doesn't score hits with her 4th and 5th singles, then her crown as the queen of top 40 radio could be in trouble.

It's also interesting to pin point that there are four females tied with the most #1 hits. 4 #1 hits each for Christina, Kelly, Jennifer, and Beyonce. By the looks of it, Avril will be joining the list to when 'Girlfriend' reaches #1. We'll have a 5 way tie!

Are you trying to say that Madonna's career isn't doing well here in the U.S.? or that she's pretty much a hasbeen? anyways, I sorta see your point. Her American Life album was a dud and her Confessions album wasn't radio-friendly here in the States--I'm still pulling for her though and I hope her next album proves to be her true U.S. comeback because the last 2 albums made little to no impact. I'm not at all surprised Mariah is not on the list--all of her singles since the Butterfly album in 1997 haven't been successful at radio until TEOM (although I don't know why, "Butterfly", "Breakdown", "Honey", "Heartbreaker", and "Thank God I Found You" were all great songs). Ciara definitely wouldn't be on this list yet--she's only had 3 huge singles so far--"Get Up", "Promise", and "Like a Boy" have had modest success but let's be honest here, they were all a little underwhelming. I think the top 10 is definitely a fair representation of pop females success over the last 10 years.

They're not my stats someone else compiled the info from the charts provided on the link. I was told Mariah Carey is not on the list because it's for Pop radio, that she had bigger success on rhythmic and R&B charts.

This has to be false. First of all, Mariah Carey isn't on the list and just look at the ranking; it just doesn't make any sense at all. Also, where is Whitney Houston? Definitely not a credible list.
