I'm white, and most of my most-listened to artists are black, but that's just because of the type of music I like. And most of the white artists I have are usually of drum & bass or dubstep.
I do think the music industry can be very racist against white people though, especially in the US. Because seriously, hip hop music has become so mainstream over the past decade, and white kids want to grow up to be rappers, just as much as black kids do these days, yet I hardly see any white rappers getting mainstream success. They just stay underground forever, whilst it's mainly black rappers that break through and get record deals and radio hits.
In the UK it's different. When I listen to UK urban radio, there's sometimes even more white rappers than black that I hear, and that's reflective of the underground scene imo. But in the US, it still seems to be 99% black. I can't believe how backwards it is.
