No, honey. Cheryl isn't just a pretty face. Cheryl, like J.Lo, is a great entertainer and dancer. Anyone that watches clips from her tour (which also got good reviews) can see that.

Regardless, I'm excited to see Cheryl at Jennifer's concert. They're very similar in terms of what they offer to pop music. I would love to see Cheryl emulate what J.Lo did in the beginning of her career with her more urban sound--which very well may be what Cheryl is doing if these Snoop Dogg rumors are true.

I'm going to resist the urge to shade Jennifer Lopez, as I actually like her, and simply ask you why you have to get so pressed when I actually gave J.Lo a compliment in my first post. If you read what I said instead of coming at me like a crazy stan you would have seen that I wasn't putting them on the same level (even though I think they are, as Cheryl's catalog of music with three records is--IMO--much better than J.Lo's, whose singles tend to be very hit or miss)... I was simply saying that I think Cheryl would do well to take notes on Jennifer's career.

Also, Cheryl is local for now. She hasn't tried to release anything in the US so please get over all of the regional ridiculousness. If she had tried and failed, that would be one thing. But she hasn't. So the fact that J.Lo has had hits all over the world (likely buoyed by her film career) doesn't really mean much to me.

I'm not being shady at all, but the truth is Cheryl is not even close or even half of what Jen is or has accomplished not just musically but in general. My fave is actually an internationL superstar with more than one talent and she's a household name.

Also, I understand your opinion but I don't see it. As you already know I'm not very well aware of this chick as in the US we don't use her and she's basically unknown. Call me ignorant or whatever but it is what it is. She's a cute girl and all but def. not a Jennifer Lopez.


I can't at you thinking she's musically successful because of her film career. If that was the case, how the hell did she get a WW hit with "Get Right" after "Gigli" tanked and most even considered her done and finito? What about "On The Floor" wen her film career was pretty much low-key for a bit?

Your opinions are very nice and all--and I certainly respect them--but that's all they are... Your opinions. I'm certainly not going to sit here and get lectured on talent by a Jennifer Lopez stan, especially when I think Cheryl's career is going to look very similar to Jennifer's (but with better singles) in about ten years.
