Personally, you should evacuate towards the west, because the storm is heading north anyway; a basement won't do much against eight inches of rain.

Gworls my aunt just moved back into her house 2 weeks ago from LAST YEAR'S hurricane and she has to leave again I used to live in my aunt's house as well and to see it flood AGAIN is just absolutely devastating wish us luck
