Since it's out I figured out more people should know about this

I think its only $15 for people who have bought a PC from june 2012 to January 2013, right? $40 for everyone else... $70 for pro shipped to your door.

Yep, $15 is dirt cheap (even $40 is a bargain), this is kind of desperate but I believe it will be extremely effective if well advertised.

Most definitely... seems strange that they're rushing people onto this system... unless they're just trying to get people used to it ASAP, maybe get people wanting it for Xmas? Because... they really don't have to fight for operating system market share...


Also... just realized that Windows XP has been out since October 2001... and to think how much everyone hated it when it came to replace 98/2000 and 11 years later it's still the world's 2nd most popular operating system, lol. Official support for XP is ending in 2 years, people gotta start switching, unless they want to wait another 4 years for the next system.

It is understandable really. It coincides with X-Mas too, and WP8.

XP is fine. Even without support, the software that people still using XP need will still be there. The only people I see using XP are corporations, it's really simple and the software corporations use is not power hungry.
