Britney was a mess during that era we all know it. It was sad seeing her destroy herself.
But that was 2007
We are in 2012 now. I love Britney.
Thank God she got herself together, for herself and kids.

I know it can be horrible liking someone like Britney when you're a guy, but I was only worried about being called "gay" for that up until I was 15 years old, after that you either grow some balls or... Well.

I own every album physically & digitally besides blackout(only digital). Just because I don't own 100 copies of one album doesn't mean i'm not a stan.

I was just explaining how opposites we were back then - you not buying a single copy because she was "crazy" and not "cool", me buying several because I wanted to show some support.

My friends and my classmates don't seem to hate Britney, they are just ok with her, the thing is that any of my friends know about charts, radio spins, itunes positions, sales, peak positions and stuff like that, some of they just eat what they hear on the Radio and thats it, a lot of my friends and classmates had "Till the world ends" on their ipods although then they errased it as soon as the song's radio moment ended.
Even one girl in my classroom, attended to "the femme fatale tour" in Miami, and she had a lot of good things to say about Britney and other people were really curious about it and asked her a lot of questions about Britney but most of them were related to brit's looks, they asked her that how does britney look like in person and stuff like that.
My parents don't care about Britney and other members of my family think britney is a drug junkie that doesn't know what to do with all of her money, and they don't know anything about her music, they just know she is controversial, however I have a female cousin that stans for Britney and she thinks britney is sort of a legend or something like that.

Seriously tho, the main reason I aint getting physical copies of any album that I like is because I dont use nor have place for clutter nomore aka I'm a modern minimalist and I like to keep my room clean and simple as much as possible. Add to it the fact that I like having people over. Let's face it, its a turn off in a guy's world. with digital copy, I can just simply say that me and my sister just share the same itunes account with me.
I am honestly surprised with all these lashing over whether you own a physical copy or not this digital era. Imo, it doesnt matter if you have physical nor digital. That just doesn't measure up nor prove anything as far as being a stan. At the end of the day you live the life that you choose to live. Coz that's just how life is (different per person) And no one has the right to tell you how you havta live it.
So dont be scared Chris they are just bitter hoes.

I see.
Tbh I disliked Britney during the "bad" period. It hurt me that she was destroying herself. Everytime she went to rehab it hurt even more, every story in the news about her hurt even more. On the out side i stoped stanning for her.
On the inside i always prayed to god that she would get better. I watched the VMA's & I bough blackout digitally.
I almost gave up my stan card, in the end for some reason I just coulnt let her go.

"Blackout" is still flawless to this day.
When is the will.i.am song coming? The video was shot like a month ago. The chart is pretty weak right now, I'd like for her to get another Top 10.

Early to mid-November. November 12 is the rumored release date.

Its interesting to see how her "bad period" influenced to her fans in different ways.
For me her "bad period" was the one that made me even a bigger stan.
I remember by 2005 or 2006 I was getting a bit bored of Britney, she was not releasing new music, she wasn't touring , she was just getting pregnant, etc , it was a bit boring back then and I was almost ready to move on with her.
Until 2007 came and I started to see that mess, and I was so worried for her, I just thought that Britney needed me, I prayed for her, and since then I've been a heavy Britney supporter even more than before, I became a bigger stan in 2007

I understand where you're coming from, don't worry. I remember clear as day my friends coming to me asking WTF happened after the VMA performance.
But still, I knew Britney had worked hard for that album, so I could not "abandon" her, especially after the whole general public did. 'Blackout' is the album I bought the most, btw, and I think it was because she was in such a bad place then, I wanted to somehow prove that she could count on us. I mean, what else could we do, right?
