We’re very proud to end a fantastic fiscal year with record September quarter results,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “We’re entering this holiday season with the best iPhone, iPad, Mac and iPod products ever, and we remain very confident in our new product pipeline.
We’re pleased to have generated over $41 billion in net income and over $50 billion in operating cash flow in fiscal 2012,” said Peter Oppenheimer, Apple’s CFO. “Looking ahead to the first fiscal quarter of 2013, we expect revenue of about $52 billion and diluted earnings per share of about $11.75.
I thought the iPhone 5 was going to be the decline of Apple cuz it wasnt being "talked about enough"? Yall better really buckle up for the holiday quarter. It's gonna be insane + those iPad Minis are gonna sell like hotcakes.

And what if the Ipad 4 release becomes Apple's decline (all those consumers that bought the "New Ipad" and are now hasbeens just 7 few months later)

Samsung releases new versions of tablets/phones after 6 months + there's no decline in their reign over the Android market. People will still be putting those iPads under the tree along with the Minis. Apple's been "doomed" for the past 3 years according to analysts but their revenue for all of 2012 was more than 2008, '09, and '10 combined.
It's funny that people actually think of this as something positive and honorable. These numbers epitomize what is wrong with the world today and were we're heading. How can someone with a mind actually think that over-consumption is something positive?
Basically they did good but wall street hasnt been the same since after iphone 5 and ipad mini's revele. They missed Wall street estimates.. still they are selling but theyve peaked it seems.. Maybe the redesign of iphone iphone5s will bring them back from the slow and steady decline.
