And it's pretty illogical and ambitious to assume that every radio will hop on the song when it IS in fact like 80% Korean and the first song of its kind to smash here.

I like the new billboard formula. Radio should be the biggest factor for the chart. Too much of a percentage for digital and all of Taylor Swift's promo singles would of been all #1's. It's much more fair this way. One More Night deserves the top spot because of their radio updates. Psy's updates are way less on radio so he should stay at #2.

It's as simple as that: a song that is sold a lot (or played a lot, for that matter) deserves the success. If a single person can't understand it, it does not take away the fact that many people obviously do like the song.

The reason why Gangnam Style is not "rocketing" is because it's a bigger risk for radio programmers to lose listeners than english songs. People not familiar with the fad will likely turn the station.
