Why hasn't Rihanna reached #1 on the Billboard 200?
Why do you guys think she has never reached #1 on the Billboard 200?
As a Rihanna fan, I'm curious to know. Her music is catchy and fun, but is that the only reason why she's here - for her singles?
I mean, there has been many prediction threads for her and I made two during the Loud era and the Talk That Talk era (and so did others). Despite having majority of yes votes, she proves us wrong by debuting under the top spot.
So why do you guys think she's always missing the #1 spot? Is it because she's always debuting in November? She's a singles artist?
It's because she always debuts in November. She does well in album sales, but she's not THAT strong in album sales that she can get #1 at such a competitive time of year.
And yet 2 Chainz and Katy Perry can get a #1 album? No.
It all comes down to rushed,yearly releases in my opinion....she releases albums so often the GP don't really appreciate/ get hyped for them.
Her albums aren't horrible, it's just that people buy her singles more.
She wouldn't be the best digital selling female in the US for nothing.
And her albums are always blocked by another release.
It's not like she isn't selling as much albums as the other girls, so I think she could care less, in my opinion.

Thirteen million is not a fluke. I'm just trying to tell you gurl, that you're obviously wrong when you say her albums aren't worth buying when 13 million units disagree with you.
