Are there any tracklists that seem kind of weird to you? One song that doesnt fit and needed to be moved? for example the teenage dream tracklisting is so weird for me.
TEENAGE DREAM
1. "Teenage Dream"
2. "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)"
3. "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg)
4. "Firework"
5. "Peacock"
6. "Circle the Drain"
7. "The One That Got Away"
8. "E.T."

11. "Hummingbird Heartbeat"
12. "Not like The Movies"

What i thought it should of been,
1. California Gurls

I don't usually care about the order of the songs.

You basically just threw all the slower songs near the back of the disc.

me neither but i don't like singles to be towards the top tho. I hate when all singles are like in the top 5 i mean i know they are usually the best but damn give the other songs a chance.

I just hate how so many albums have the singles (catchiest songs) front-loaded, and then the best songs at the end, with the weaker tracks in the middle. Of course, for consistently good artists, even "weaker" tracks are still pretty good. But for others, those weak tracks in the middle can be so filler or so terrible that I can't make it through the whole album :x

This. THere's more to the flow of an album than putting songs in tempo order, fastest to slowest.

I do occaisonally take issue with some pop record tracklistings, and I usually make my own playlists for those, but the ones you mentioned I thought were fine the way they are.

!!! I hate it when they do that. If there are fillers, they shouldn't put them all together. They should put the catchy songs all throughout the disk, not like the first 4 on the CD then just throw all the unimportant songs after. I hate that. And I don't think they should put all the slow songs together, because that can make this whole block of the CD that is boring and hard to get through. There needs to be variety to the song order so people can stay interested throughout the whole thing. Tracklisting is so important but so many don't care and just want to take the easy way out and put the singles first.
