According to Bay News 9, two men saw Swanson walking through a wooded area completely naked while carrying a cross.
"We pulled up alongside of her, and at that point I looked out the window and I asked her, I said, 'Are you alright?' And she said, 'Yeah, but I'm a little bit confused,''" one of the men tells the news station.
The two men then apparently wound up at a social gathering when Swanson, still in the nude, entered.
One of them men says that Swanson held up the cross, made a circle and said "Antichrist, Antichrist, this meeting is over."
Swanson was asked to leave the gathering, and she did. She apparently walked back to her boyfriend's house and grabbed an antique gun. Her boyfriend tells Bay News 9 that the gun only holds one bullet and does not fire.
Swanson walked back to the party with the gun, and got into a confrontation with two off-duty police officers who were there. One worked for the Tampa Police department; the other for the Hernando County Sheriff's office. The details are unclear, but one or both of the officers ended up shooting and killing Swanson.
Swanson's boyfriend says that she was very religious, and was afraid that the End Times were near.
