This is what the track list of Erotica was going to be originally, as you can see the order is different and Goodbye to Innocence was included only to be scrapped off at the very last minute

The only songs I don't like that much are did you do it and In this life (because it's too slow), but Bye bye baby is one of my alltime M favs, the lyrics and the attitude in that song are flawless, I love the production on that track too and the epic ending: 'You ****ed it up'

I don't own it tbh so I don't have the answers, probably people on a Madonna forum can answer, as much as I hate Madonnanation and the people there I think they could answer you with expert knowledge there

so ahead of it's time before it was kewl for pop singers to experiment with hip hop, Madonna did this on Erotica. The heavy influences in R&B and Hip Hop are written all over this album. weakest of her albums, i beg to differ, misunderstood, yes, but not weak, this album has stood da test of time and those critics who were so quick to write it off as shock value have changed their minds. heck this album got Madonna an ex husband, Guy Ritchie.

Very few albums can define what an icon Madonna is, and Erotica is one, her hidden gem to us all

love that era. thankss for all this information!!!!!!! i hadn´t seen all this stuff, i only can tell you that at that time i was like 9 yers old and everybody was scared with madonna and the news said that she could have aids jajajajajajajajajajajajajaj that was the way the world reacted to her power. everybody was shocked =)

sometimes i wonder if she haden´t do this, she would have had more success???? mmmm maybe she would have had more number ones in the hot 100 because she lost too many fans but she wouldn´t have been the same today in the long term =) =) i think she did the correct steps

I agree, if she had continued playing a safe career she would have had more #1's but she would have had no real impact and would have faded by now

I was only 3 so I did too, but I rank it as my third favorite era in terms of what a landmark it was in pop history and her career.
