She did it in 2010 with Speak Now. It's the same record that The Beatles & David Cook hold. And it's only 3 of them who did it in the history of Billboard. Would be near impossible to repeat, but hopefully she will.

Idk with each album release the time it takes to get to number 1 is shortening it's entirely possible with the right fanbase. Just saying. Gaga, Bieber, and Taylor are the only ones who really have fanbases like that atm though. I think Adele can do it based on hype though.

And yet Aldean just sold more last week than those "popular artists", so lets not pretend the competition is any different than a normal week.
Jason Aldean is very well known in the country world. His relevance sky rocketed after his last album, with help from Ludacris and Kelly Clarkson. He's just as popular as Swift, just not with the "pop" audience.
I'm intrigued in what other "popular" artist would be doing 900k-1m to rival her this week, though.
I think you misunderstood their post... nobody's saying that Taylor can have any competition for number one.. they meant that if there were more big albums in the top 10, it would take longer than 30 minutes for her to surpass them
