It's really sad that THAT song is the one that replaced "Jesus Christ" at #1.
I'm not even joking.

^ Agreed because a song would have to be #1 100 times in order to retire on this countdown. And even more if it's not # 1 100 straught days. Anyway, 5/10

Dear everyone, the retirement has been and will always be 1000 points. 4 songs have already retired according to that standard and I'm keeping it that way. Songs become bronze at 125, silver at 250, gold at 375, hall of fame at 500, and retired at 1000. Thank you for your comments though as they are appreciated.

Just adding on to what I said before, the funny thing is, this countdown isn't that bad at all. It has quite a few good spots. It's just that "Umbrella" being the song to replace "Jesus Christ" at #1 left a bad taste in my mouth, is all.
Nice to see it back at #1 where it belongs, though.

To Mr. One And Only the 4 songs to retire are
Fall Out Boy / Sugar, We're Going Down
Cute Is What We Aim For / Teasing To Please
Cute Is What We Aim For / There's A Class For This
Brand New / Sowing Season
And to Ryan: I know what you mean. I just have a really strange music taste in that Rihanna could ever top Brand New but that song has special meaning to me and that's how its able to get up there. Idk i'm weird i guess.
13) Amy Winehouse / You Know I'm No Good [peak: 05]
12) Justin Timberlake / Summer Love [peak: 12]
11) Linkin Park / What I've Done [peak: 05]
10) Maroon 5 / Makes Me Wonder [109 points, -1, peak: 02]
09) Daughtry / Home [73 points, +1, peak: 04]
08) AFI / The Missing Frame [166 points, -1, peak: 01(x1)]
07) The Used / The Bird And The Worm [160 points, +1, peak: 02]
06) Gwen Stefani / 4 In The Morning [45 points, -1, peak: 04]
05) Fall Out Boy / Thnks Fr Th Mmrs [301 points, +1, peak: 02]
04) Rihanna ft. Jay Z / Umbrella [141 points, -1, peak: 01(x1)]
03) Paramore / Misery Business [35 points, +1, peak: 03]
02) *Brand New / Jesus Christ [548 points, -1, peak: 01(x53)]*
01) Kelly Clarkson / Never Again [175 points, +1, peak: 01(x1)]
falloffs:
none
With Brand New loosening its stranglehold on the top spot will Paramore score their 3rd number one on my countdown?!
