The problem is that there are some people born here who are of age that can't get the documents needed to produce a state ID.Also, this law affects many college students who don't carry Driver's licenses (many take the bus) and since college IDs aren't considered acceptable under some of these laws, that leaves out a chunk of people.
My main issue with this is while it does make sense on the surface, there isn't enough "voter fraud" out there to warrant such strict laws to be put on the table. It's all pretty politically motivated tbh. If you can't get those eligible disadvantaged voters ID cards, then why should you take away their right to a political voice???
Yes personal responsibility plays a factor, but some college students don't think about going to the DMV to get a drivers' license since it would useless if they take public transportation.I'd say in order for me to support it,it would have to lose a few restrictions and stop supporting a political agenda.
