Really? Album and single sales are the ONLY places? Are you forgetting the most important part: touring? She has already outgrossed Rihanna's Loud Tour with half the dates.
Queen of social media? Gaga has more Twitter followers and her own rather successful site. Forbes agrees that her position as social media queen remains so unless the next report says otherwise, we'll keep it that way.
Rihanna's singles do better because of her huge radio support. If you notice, most of them don't even sell extraordinarily.
And of course she's going to have more views, she only has 40+ singles while Gaga has under 15.
Loud came out months prior to BTW and it sold more. UMG reports 6.8m for Gaga and 5.9m for Loud. You can take away the 400k sold with the discount if you'd like.
Not to mention that Guinness named Gaga the biggest celebrity and not Rihanna.
