I would say she's a strikingly good looking woman (when she wants to be).

"Beautiful" doesn't feel appropriate because, to me, that implies conventional prettiness...whilst Gaga is more, well, striking.

yes. just cause she doesnt feel the need to show it all of the time doesnt mean she isnt.
