The ending makes the whole movie. If it had a happy ending it would be like a f****ng soap opera, but more boring.

Just wrote a paper on this for my film / literature class.

It was a good movie. I remember when it came out on DVD and I only bought it for the sex scene, so I could get off to it. Mess tbh. I was 15 though. Whew! Talk about pressed.

it awesome, i love the direction, the music, the acting, everything is flawless, Jake and Heath have good chemistry.

I also cried while watching the final scenes, too much for me.

I actually only watched it for the first time pretty recently. I didn't avoid it necessarily, but I didn't go out of my way to see it because I had heard so much buzz and spoilers around the time it came out that I assumed I just knew the whole story and it wasn't worth seeing. I was definitely wrong. Everything is very understated, but it's a masterpiece. Ang Lee is a genius.

I haven't seen this in awhile, kind of feel like watching it.
